Course Description

As part of its modular Clinician Scientist Training Programme, GIMM CARE delivers tailored training around clinical and translational research*, aiming to capacitate the most critical resource within the bench to bedside continuum – people.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals and researchers from CAML (ULSSM, GIMM, FMUL).

Across two focused sessions, we will:

  • Build a shared understanding of what clinical trials are, why they matter, and how they are designed and managed.
  • Share Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) institutional expertise, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Explore how institutions like ours can strengthen their capacity to attract and lead clinical trials, and to improve the health and quality of life of our patients.

Note: No laptop needed
