Course Description
What does patient involvement mean? What are the benefits of involving patients in research? How can I integrate it in my research and practice? These questions (and more) will be tackled in this upcoming course, imparted by the Impact and Responsible Research (IRR) Office at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR).
This hands-on course is aimed at healthcare professionals and researchers and will provide useful tools to get started with patient involvement or deepen current practices. The course will include:
- A foundational overview of patient involvement principles, as part of the broader Responsible Research and Innovation framework
- Success stories of other research projects, showcasing their impact
- An interactive assignment to explore the tangible benefits of patient involvement.
- A space to reflect on own practices and implement patient involvement in your work
*Enrollment for this course is limited to 35 participants. Placements will be allocated in the order in which registrations are received (assuming a fair representation across depts).
